Paper Bandit Press

Kim and Brett Borup, Paper Bandit Press, collaborate with several designers resulting in a wide array of gorgeous card designs. Their daughter, Stephanie Ford, designed this festive Party Animal birthday card. I hope you have a party animal in your life deserving of such a beautifully printed group of raucous animals!

Anemone Letterpress

Carrie Howe Hersom has a fun and vibrant aesthetic, likely influenced by her Southern California locale. She said this card was in her mind for ages and she finally put it to paper recently. I love the playful little monster. She creates unique cards full of color and life. I’m so thrilled to share another of her cards with our subscribers.

Bears Eat Berries

Laura Wentzel, Bears Eat Berries, has a delightful aesthetic that is classic and clean yet playful and irreverent. Like other designers in this collection, she has mastered illustrating animal creatures in their simplest form and still infuses them with liveliness. Her adorable Thank You Walrus is a perfect example. Longtime members will remember her ‘Hi’ hedgehog card and lovely little lemons thank you card.

Power & Light Press

One of the beautiful cards in the September collection is from Power and Light Press. We asked the owner, Kyle Durrie, to tell us a little bit more about her business.

Lucky Horse Press

Michele Lee, Lucky Horse Press, intermixes delicate details with bold blocks of color to form striking designs. This illustration of stacked bandit-masked animals in Partners In Crime is no exception. You may remember her adorable Pig Party design; petite, pale-pink, dancing pigs! Her style is both playful and sophisticated. You should not be surprised to see her work included in future collections.
