Meet The Makers

Sarah Parrott has a lovely hand-touched aesthetic. Her work is sophisticated and warm. The calligraphed Mother Teresa quote on her featured card encouraging us to “do small things with great love” fits right in with the sincere sentiments of her line.

Megan Fowler and her mother, Gaëlle Boling, have a knack for capturing culinary delights in their work. The bright grapefruit in their featured card reminds me of the delicious winter treat in my childhood home.

Ashkahn’s signature neon envelopes are hard to miss and reveal his bright environs in sunny SoCal. Even harder to miss is his biting and unguarded sense of humor. If you have a sensitive sense of humor, I do not recommend you visit his vibrant site to see more of his punch. But, for the rest of you, enjoy his exuberant designs.

Brady Vest oversees the wide variety of design styles printed by hand at Hammerpress. The craftsmanship and rich, saturated inks are notable elements in their work. The lovely and bright ‘With Gratitude’ card featured in the November 2015 collection is no exception.

Amanda Nolte of Alee & Press has a lovely style that is playful yet restrained. I love the balance in her work between bright colors and light ink as you can see in Green Stripes. We’ll share other examples of her inspiring work in upcoming collections.
